Mahavir Jayanti Celebrates the birth of the Hero Mahavir

Mahavir Jayanti celebrates the birth the religious hero Mahavir. He was the last Tirthankara in Jainism.  He was the son of King Siddhartha and Queen Trishala. When Mahavir was about to be born the astrologers predicted that either he would become an ramana or a Tirthankar. He is also known as Vardhamana, Shramana. He was born in Kundalagrama near Vaishali which is in Bihar.

Mahavir taught the world the necessity of right faith which includes Nonviolence, truthfulness, non-stealing, chastity and non-possession or non attachment.

Maha means super and veer mean a hero. He was a hero who had the control on his mind. Not everybody in this world can achieve this state. He used the meditation techniques available at that stage of time to conqueror  his mind.

We can also remember this super hero by sending e-card to our loved ones at www.desievite.com or if we are organising any spiritual function anywhere we can invite the pupils by sending them invitation at www.desievite.com

Ram Navami the festival to Celebrate the Birth of Sri Ram

Ram Navami  is a festival mostly celebrated by the Hindu’s. On this occasion the birth of Lord Rama is celebrated .Sri Ram was the son of King Dasharatha and Queen Kausalya of Ayodhya. In some part of India it is celebrated for nine days also known as ‘Navratra’.

Lord Rama is the symbol of a winner in the war against the evil. He is also seen as the symbol of love and happiness. He was also an idle son a brother and a husband.

Ram Navami could be an occasion to change our self by inducing a good habit. It could be a small one but if we practice this for nine days we can easily adapt it for rest of our lives. It could be giving nine minutes to our loved ones in our family. It could be taking a walk for nine minutes in the morning. It could be reading a good book for nine minutes. It could be anything. Plan according to the needs.  It could be praying to Lord for nine minutes.

We can also celebrate Ram Navami by remembering our loved ones. The easiest way is send them a Ram Navami  e-card.  The best destination to do that is www.desievite.com . Why wait? Send them the blessing of Lord Rama in the form of E-cards at www.desievite.com.

Holi the festival of colours a time for TRANSFORMATION

Holi is the festival of colours. It comes to remind us something. It resembles our life. Different colours are different feeling we experience every day and according to these feeling we respond. Red resembles danger. We get red hot in anger. Whenever we experience red in our life wait, take your time and then response. Yellow is the symbol to get ready but before getting ready we have to take some concrete decisions which are going to affect our life. Green is the colour that we are ready to sail in the ocean of life. White is the colour for flexibility. We all know that if we mix white in any colour it completely dissolves in that colour. It does not complain why you are mixing me in that colour. It does not mean that we should not complain. It should be done on purpose. We have to decide the colours which we want to welcome in our life and which to bid goodbye

Holi is celebrated to welcome spring. We can use this festival to transform our life. We can’t directly start with bigger changes at once. We can start with small changes. This could be anything. We can start saving ten rupees a month or we can start writing a diary once a month. There are some many things we can change in our life. These changes would lay foundation. It would transform you. It would make your personality stronger. People would start following you not on twitter but in your surroundings. This can only happen when you start with a small change in your life. Somebody gave me the definition of a leader. Let me share this with you. It was buried in my heart from many years. Everybody is a leader because in the morning everybody does something. When anybody wakes up he leads his body to do something. You are a leader. A leader always tries to change everybody life. Everybody includes him also.

Holi can celebrated as a day of new beginning. It is a day when we burn all the myths that we are holding in our life. Let me share some myths with you that we are still holding in our lives. People should not sweep there houses in the night. This was true when there was no electricity. It was a possibility that they could sweep away precious things also and throw them away. Now we have 24 hours electricity. We can sweep our homes any time we are free. No fear of sweeping any precious things. This explanation would clear this myth from your mind. Let me share another myth with you. It say that if a cat crosses our way we should wait and allow somebody to cross the way or we should take other road. How does a cat feel if a human being crosses her road? Why we do not treat the occurrence equal if a cow crosses our road? Nothing happens if you believe me. I always cross the way without a single hesitation. It’s our thoughts that makes something happens in our life not the poor cat. It has happened many times. Now this myth is also cleared. If these two myths are cleared promise me that you would write this in the paper and throw it in the borne fire. This is a request. It is up to you to follow or not. Write the myths that you want to get rid and throw it in born fire.  Whenever it surrounds you tell yourself it has no power and give no attention to it. It would fade from your life by itself.

Let Holi bring colour of happiness in your life. Let this Holi transform you in a totally bright transformed person. Let the power of new welcome you in the festival of colours. We would also like to send this message to our loved ones. We can do this at www.desievite.com
